Silent Gliss Roman Blind System 2304
A compact made to measure roman blind system from Silent Gliss using a 1:1 gear ratio for light to medium weight blinds. Compliant to child safety legislation using magnetic breakaway chain housing that separates from the headrail if a force of 6kg or more is applied to the chain. Easily re-attached due to being magnetic.
The 1:1 gear ratio control is ideal for operating light-medium weight blinds. When you control the blind it will raise/lower at a ratio of 1:1, e.g. for every metre you pull the chain the blind will also raise by a metre. This makes it quicker to operate your blind and is only recommended for light-medium weight blinds due to this.
- Made to measure up to 2.0m wide (for up to 3.0m see system 2305)
- Chain control using 1:1 gear ratio
- Available with breakaway chain control for blinds up to 2kg
- Available with non-breakaway chain control for blinds up to 3.5kg

Silent Gliss Roman Blind System 2305
A compact made to measure roman blind system from Silent Gliss using a 1:4 gear ratio for medium to heavy weight blinds. Compliant to child safety legislation using magnetic breakaway chain housing that separates from the headrail if a force of 6kg or more is applied to the chain. Easily re-attached due to being magnetic.
The 1:4 gear ratio control makes it easier to operate heavier blinds using the gearing. When you control the blind it will raise/lower at a ratio of 1:4, e.g. for every metre you pull the chain the blind will raise by 25cm. This will mean it will be easier for you to pull a heavier blind and also puts less pressure on the roman blind headrail.
- Made to measure up to 3.0m wide
- Chain control using 1:4 gear ratio
- Available with breakaway chain control for blinds up to 4kg
- Available with non-breakaway chain control for blinds up to 7.5kg
- Cord spools supplied are suitable for blinds up to 3.4m drop

Morris and Co Rosehip DMCR226457 (DM3P224486) Indigo fabric from The Craftsman fabric collection, priced per metre.
Rosehip is taken from a tile design attributed to either Morris or William De Morgan. De Morgan worked with Morris designing stained glass until he started up his own tile making business. Many of De Morgan’s early designs show a strong Morris influence both in the motifs he used and in an adherence to some of Morris’ principles of pattern making. This fabric interpretation of the pattern creates a more interlocking design. The motifs were hand cut and hand printed from lino giving an authentic hand block printed look.

Bamboo has been adapted from a design by E.W. Godwin of 1872. Like Morris Godwin was dedicated to beautifying the home and Oscar Wilde referred to him as One of the most artistic spirits of this century in England. Godwin was highly influenced by Japanese design and often used bamboo motifs in his work. Originally block printed by Jeffrey & Co. samples of the wallpaper can be found in the Morris & Co. Archive. Morris and Co Snakeshead DMCR226460 (DCMF226726, DM3P224469) Indigo/Hemp fabric from The Craftsman fabric collection, priced per metre.
Designed by William Morris in 1876 the design was originally block printed onto cotton. Between 1875 and 1877 Morris produced a small group of patterns influenced by the colouring and patterns of Indian textiles. This design was one of Morris’ own favourites among his printed chintzes. The design takes its name from the nodding snakes head fritillary blooms that complement the larger more formal motifs. The dramatic flame like motif and alternating spiky clusters of foliage seem held in suspension by the delicate scrolling tendrils that form the background. Four rich colourways have been printed onto linen union.
